Quick, agile, and always eager to turn, the ski is at its best in mixed to compact conditions on moderate slopes, where its versatility stands out. The redesigned multilayer wood core keeps it light and lively. Replacing the previous model's foam core with solid wood sharpens the ski's sporting feel, adds stability at higher speeds, and is a significant step toward greater durability. The 3D sidecut radius makes the Peregrine 78 remarkably agile, a joy for skiers who love short, tight turns. The proven integrated Lowride binding system now comes with a wide, light, and lower binding, which further improves agility in tight turns and makes stepping in easier through the TCX heel unit. The construction is identical to that of the older Peregrine 80 and 82, and this is the first time the system has been used on a ski under 80 mm. Direct integration into the wood core also improves the transfer of power from the binding to the ski.
