For fit, the durable, mold-injected Booster ankle strap is wrapped with an arm to balance comfort, control and edge-to-edge energy transmission; together with the ergonomic, ultra-lightweight Ultra-Fit toe strap, it reduces pressure points. Tool-free adjustments for the straps, toe ramp and forward lean help dial in a precise fit. MicroMax micro-adjustments center the straps over the boot for support and comfort, and the easy entrance slider’s ladder strap uses strategically placed softer materials for easier entry and exit. The tool-free toe ramp improves toe-edge transmission. The baseplate has a 30% fiberglass nylon composite described as stiffer than competitors’ low-end plastic and more durable and comfortable than aluminum, plus 20% recycled nylon composite; the highback also features 20% recycled nylon composite. A universal disc works with all existing mounting systems, the baseplate is compatible with the Unite rental system, and Salomon’s patented IMS (Integrated Mounting System) keeps disc screws in place during adjustment or board swaps.
