Built for freeride with a nod to the binding’s heritage, the Look Pivot 2.0 15 GripWalk® focuses on durability, dependable retention and release. Alpine ISO 5355 and GripWalk® ISO 23223 A boot soles are compatible; the source also describes the latter as a future ISO 23223 standard. Under the tibia, the classic PIVOT turntable heel rotates with 28mm of elastic travel to absorb shock and reduce unwanted pre-release. An all-metal aluminum RACE toe provides 45mm of elastic travel and 180⁰ multi-directional release, with power, precision and durability for disciplines from Alpine World Cup racing to Freestyle, Freeride and Moguls. Longer lateral and vertical elastic travel, together with fast re-centering before release, supports retention and shock absorption. A shorter mounting zone cuts swing weight, improves response and allows a deeper, rounder and more consistent ski flex. ROLLING CONTROL components minimize roll at the boot-to-binding interface before engagement for efficient power transmission; in a fall, mechanical upward release acts independently of the heel to provide 180⁰ multi-directional release.
