Built for intermediate to advanced riders, the Rossignol One is an all-mountain snowboard with a balanced flex and composed handling at speed. Its DIRECTIONAL ALL-MOUNTAIN flex is stiff at the rear foot and waist for control and stability, but slightly softer under the front foot to smooth turn initiation. The FLEX 7 rating sits on Rossignol’s 1-to-10 scale from softest to stiffest; softer boards are easier to manipulate, while stiffer ones offer more power and stability. For turns, RADCUT pairs traditional sidecut between the inserts with reverse sidecuts toward the tip and tail: more sidecut engages as speed and edge angle rise for full-length grip, while less engages at lower speeds and angles for easier maneuvering. SERRATED EDGES 5S adds five small contact points, one between the inserts and two on each side, extending edge hold and stability with a smoother, less aggressive feel. AMPTEK ALL-MOUNTAIN, one of three patented rocker/camber blends tailored to riding style and intensity, combines equal parts rocker and camber with softer extremities and a stiffer waist for edge grip, stability, forgiveness and float. Inside, WOOD CBF1 uses one type of wood laminated with BASALT and Kevlar fibers through the center for stability, punch and smooth edge-to-edge transitions. L.I.T.E. FRAME, described as an industry-first visible innovation, wraps a urethane strip around the whole core perimeter for full-length shock absorption, maneuverability, playfulness and smooth ride control. BASALT fibers are stronger and lighter than fiberglass and more elastic than carbon, increasing power and stability while reducing vibration. ARAMID (Kevlar®), also used in ballistically rated body-armour fabric, damps vibration and smooths rough landings. Fiberglass offers more elasticity than carbon and comes in varied weights and weaves to tailor flex and torsional resistance. TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) combines high tensile strength with very good low-temperature flexibility to absorb vibration and improve response under pressure. ABS in sidewalls and/or splitboard cores improves durability and shields the core from moisture.
