Adult One All-mountain Snowboard

Rossignol’s One is an all-mountain snowboard intended for intermediate to advanced riders. Its FLEX 7 rating sits on Rossignol’s scale from 1 (softest) to 10 (stiffest), where softer boards are easier to manipulate and stiffer ones provide more power and stability. DIRECTIONAL ALL-MOUNTAIN flex is firm at the rear foot and waist for control and stability, with slightly softer flex beneath the front foot to smooth turn initiation. For grip, the SERRATED EDGES 5S place five smaller contact points along the edge, one between the inserts and two on each side, extending grip and stability with a smoother, less aggressive feel. RADCUT pairs a traditional sidecut between the inserts with reverse sidecuts toward tip and tail: more sidecut engages at higher speeds and edge angles for powerful full-length grip, while less engages at lower speeds and angles for easier maneuvering. AMPTEK ALL-MOUNTAIN uses a 50/50 rocker/camber blend with softer extremities and a stiffer waist, balancing edge grip, stability, forgiveness and float. At the center of the WOOD CBF1 core, one type of wood is laminated with Basalt and Kevlar fibers for stability, punch and smooth edge-to-edge transitions. A urethane strip circles the entire core perimeter in the visible L.I.T.E. FRAME construction, absorbing shocks along the full board for maneuverability, playfulness and smooth control. BASALT fibers are stronger and lighter than fiberglass and more elastic than carbon, adding power and stability while reducing vibrations. ARAMID, also known as Kevlar® and commonly used in ballistic-rated body-armor fabric, dampens vibration and smooths rough landings. Fiberglass is more elastic than carbon; its various weights and weaves allow tailored flex and torsional resistance. TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) combines high tensile strength with good low-temperature flexibility to absorb vibrations and improve response under pressure. ABS in sidewalls or splitboard cores improves durability and helps protect the core from moisture.
