This three-antenna device features Smart-Antenna Technology, which analyzes its position in the avalanche and automatically selects the best transmitting antenna for up to double the range and faster discovery. Its streamlined, logical design lets you quickly flag buried victims or switch to standby mode with a single button. Secondary avalanche protection automatically switches from search and standby modes to transmit mode to protect the searcher. The extra-large, full-graphic screen remains easy to read even in extreme light conditions; clear instructions and a 360-degree real-time display support intuitive use under pressure. Weighing just 210 grams, it has a rubberized grip zone for secure handling with gloves and fits easily into a hip pocket when not worn in its quick-access carrying system. This system automatically pushes the transceiver out when unzipped, keeping it quickly and safely accessible and ready for immediate use. The RECCO® reflector integrated into the carrying system provides backup that increases the chances of being found. The DIRACT VOICE comes with a rechargeable low-temperature battery that is especially long-lasting and environmentally friendly, supplies reliable power even at -20°C and will not leak, unlike normal batteries.
