TEAR-AID TYPE A repair patches provide an instant solution for sealing tears and punctures on a wide variety of materials. The unique elastomer composition resists punctures, abrasion, and UV rays while maintaining exceptional flexibility across different temperatures. This product creates an immediate, durable, and airtight seal on fabrics, rubber, neoprene, nylon, and various plastics.

-- Matte-finish polyurethane tape is exceptionally tough and highly abrasion resistant. It stretches and springs back without losing its grip.
-- Aggressive adhesive is engineered for a high-strength bond on a wide variety of surfaces and does not turn gummy in the heat.
-- Repairs holes and tears on Pennel Orca®, Hypalon, rubber, most fabrics, fiberglass, nylon, most plastics (including polyethylene, polypropylene and polyurethane), non-oiled leather, aluminum and stainless steel.
-- Available as a kit or in 3 W x 5' L rolls.
-- Clear, see-through tape works with all colors and will not discolor over time.
-- Easy to use: cut the patch to shape, clean the damaged surface, and stick it on. No muss, no fuss, no mess.
-- Note: Type A Tear-Aid is not recommended for vinyl or PVC. For those materials, use Type B Tear-Aid, item 37976.01.
-- Roll dimensions: 3 wide x 5' long.
-- Kit includes: one 3 x 12 patch, one 1 3/8 x 1 3/8 patch, one 7/8 x 7/8 patch, two alcohol prep pads, one 12 reinforcement filament for edge tears, and illustrated repair instructions.
