Premium genuine ISA leather, a 100% waterproof membrane and a lining of 50% Merino Wool / 50% Polyester form part of these NEXGRIP boots. Inside, a removable polyurethane insole is laminated with 50% wool/50% polyester, alongside a removable aluminum/felt weather-stripping insole. Available with 200g and 100g Thinsulate insulation, the boots offer a comfort zone up to (100g: -15C) (200g: -30C), with men’s sizes up to 14. Underfoot, a retractable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel crampon works with a non-slip real rubber sole featuring a new patented crampon sole design. A replacement crampon is available. Behind the boots is a family-owned Quebec business: NEXGRIP brings together technologies in an exclusive patented concept, pairing a patented cleat system at the heel with non-slip technology at the front. Engineered for Canadian winters and Quebec’s varied wintry conditions, the system addresses freezing rain, snow and sub-zero temperatures.
