On descents, it offers top power transfer and total reliability while excelling in handling and comfort. The extra-wide plate and Step-In Side Towers make entry very easy. Ice Breaker Pins displace ice and snow from ski touring boot inserts to firmly anchor the boot, while the toe-piece design loosens and pushes out any buildup when stepping in. The brakes retract in climbing mode with the first step into the binding and activate automatically in downhill mode. For comfortable climbing on steep terrain, the new functionally integrated speed riser offers three walk modes and can be operated with a ski pole or by hand. The toe-piece excenter locks with the ski-pole grip and releases with the pole tip. Thanks to a re-engineered ski crampon leash, the Seven Summits+ is compatible with the new DYNAFIT ski crampon featuring “Quick-In-Achse,” which can be attached from the side or the top; on challenging terrain, top mounting is easier and faster.
