Icon 700 Headlamp, Lighting

The Black Diamond Icon 700 headlamp is designed for multi-day backcountry hut trips or situations where you need to "link 14ers in a single push." With 700 lumens at its maximum setting, it is the manufacturer’s most powerful light. Its faceted optical lens and improved optical efficiency provide brighter light with a higher peak intensity. The updated interface includes a second switch for easy lens mode selection and a six-setting, three-LED battery meter. Brightness memory allows you to turn the light on and off at a chosen brightness without reverting to full power, while PowerTap™ technology allows for instant transitioning between full and dimmed power. Full-strength proximity and distance modes, dimming, strobe, lock mode, and red, green, and blue night vision accommodate a variety of missions. In cold weather, the detachable battery pack can be stored in a warm pocket thanks to the included longer cable, preserving battery life for "polar mode." The fully sealed IP67 unit is dust and waterproof, tested to operate up to 1 meter underwater for 30 minutes, and requires no maintenance after immersion.
