Built for quick outings and full-day hikes alike, the updated Kopec Low GTX is a lightweight, sturdy waterproof shoe with a wider fit and a more responsive midsole for comfort across varied day hikes. Underfoot, its rubber outsole and Vibram® Megagrip lugs grip flat or steep ground in wet and dry conditions; a rubber toe cap guards against trail obstacles. The synthetic and textile upper is woven with recycled polyester Cordura and includes expanded TPU overlays and a stretch-woven collar. Its GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit membrane keeps water out while allowing feet to breathe. The midsole uses EVA and supercritical foam, while the PU insole has a lightweight shock-absorbing foam base with 50% Susterra plant-based content and an antimicrobial-treated mesh top cloth. The source also specifies “Wpn pfc free.”
