Description

Fortius™ 2.0 gives this breathable, highly durable softshell stretch, wind resistance and an increased warmth-to-weight ratio. A moisture-repelling DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish works alongside taped seams that add weather resistance and strength while keeping a low profile. The fabric specification is 60d synthetic stretch softshell with a plain-weave nylon face, polyester fleece backer, 233gsm and DWR FC0. Body composition is 84% nylon and 16% elastane with 100% polyester backing; the lining is 100% polyester. Sustainability details identify FC0 DWR for the body and Bluesign Approved Material with recycled content for the lining. Originally developed for the rigours of ice climbing, this warmest Gamma has evolved into a versatile option for mountain activities in mixed conditions. Its regular fit and articulated patterning support comfortable mobility, with a CB length of 73cm. For coverage, the adjustable, helmet-compatible StormHood™ leaves peripheral vision unobstructed, shaped elasticized cuffs extend protection, and an adjustable hem drawcord seals out drafts. Easy-access zippered hand pockets and a zippered chest pocket hold small essentials.
