Warmth comes from recycled 60gsm Coreloft™ Compact insulation, a light, breathable fill that performs when wet and retains its loft to resist packing out. Around it, a lightweight, breathable 30D mini-ripstop nylon face fabric with a PU coating combines durability with a balance of breathability and wind resistance, while the PFAS-free FC0-DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish repels moisture. Temperature regulation is supported by a breathable 20D recycled nylon liner that feels soft and comfortable next to the skin. Durable, breathable stretch fleece side panels use recycled content and improve freedom of movement. An updated, more streamlined fitted cut and articulated patterning improve mobility and comfort under layers, allowing easy layering with the Beta AR and other shells. Small essentials stay secure in zippered hand pockets and an internal zippered chest pocket. Custom TPU zipper pulls are easy to operate with gloves, and No Slip Zip™ at the main opening helps prevent inadvertent opening. Stretch knit cuffs hold the sleeves in place and fit comfortably beneath outer layers; dual hem cinches keep drafts out and adjust length. Material composition is 100% nylon for the shell, 93% polyester and 7% elastane for the contrast, 100% polyester for the insulation, and 100% nylon for the lining. Sustainability details specify recycled content in the contrast, Bluesign Approved Material and recycled content in the insulation, and dope dyeing for some colours plus recycled content in the lining. Weight in size S is 266g.
