Icon 700 Headlamp, Lighting

The Black Diamond Icon 700 headlamp is designed for multi-day trips to a backcountry cabin or situations where you “connect 14 people with a single press.” With 700 lumens at maximum, it is presented as the manufacturer’s most powerful light. Its multi-faceted optical lens and improved optical efficiency provide brighter light, with “more peak intensity.” The updated interface includes a second switch for easier target mode selection and a three-LED battery indicator with six settings. The brightness memory retains the selected level when switched on and off, without reverting to full power; PowerTap™ allows you to instantly switch from full power to dimmed power. The full-power close and far modes, dimming, strobe, lock, and red, green, and blue night vision meet a variety of missions. In cold weather, the removable battery can be stored in a warm, deep pocket thanks to the included longer cable to preserve its battery life in “Polar Mode.” Fully sealed, the IP67 unit resists dust and water, with tested operation up to 1 meter underwater for 30 minutes, requiring no maintenance after immersion.
