With durable, rustproof aluminum and plastic construction, these side frames have a weight capacity of 39.5 lbs, 4" of vertical adjustability and a frame weight of 1 lb, backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Installation on the Thule Tour bike rack (TH100016) is easy using the included quick-release clamp and the rack’s existing hardware. Each frame attaches to a Tour side rail, adding a second, lower rail for adjusting your pannier’s mounting position. Raise or lower that position to improve your bike’s center of gravity and achieve a lower center of gravity, or move the frames fore or aft for maximum heel clearance.
