RENEGADE EVO ICE GTX
It takes just one glance to see that the LOWA Renegade EVO ICE GTX is definitely not your average winter boot. Designed to keep feet warm, comfortable and protected on snowy outings, with a taller shaft made of robust leather for confidence striding through snowdrifts. It features an insulated Gore-Tex Cirrus XT lining for extra warmth, and Vibram’s acclaimed Arctic Grip Trac outsole for outstanding traction on slick, wet ice. The LOWA Monowrap frame and the directly injected PU midsole with cushioning windows also do their part to create the best possible comfort. The waterproof Gore-Tex membrane ensures optimal weather protection and excellent breathability.
The midsole of the Renegade EVO ICE GTX is made of an innovative LOWA technology: LOWA DynaPU. The special feature: It retains its restoring force even when it’s pressed together thousands of times. As a result, the boots will maintain their exceptional cushioning properties even after you have walked many kilometres in them. The plastic called polyurethane is a lightweight foam padding that has very good cushioning properties. The plastic retains its form and springs back to its original condition even when its millions of tiny bubbles are frequently pressed together. This, in turn, creates a good rebound effect.
