K2 redesigned the Maysis to perform like a glove, and its cutting-edge design makes it a perennial bestseller.
It features a thermoformable, open-cell Intuition® foam liner that molds perfectly to the shape of your leg, ankle, and foot for superior fit, warmth, and comfort. The secret to this award-winning fit lies in the Conda™ lacing system. Featuring a BOA® Fit System dial, this soft, adjustable harness is designed to keep the heel in the heel area of ??the shoe. This urethane-based harness conforms to the ankle and provides natural flexion.
On the outside, K2 incorporated an articulated collar to reduce deformation when bending the knee, and added an abrasion-resistant rubber compound for optimal durability. A high-performance BOA® Fit System H4 Coiler closure system securely closes the shell without removing the gloves.
Finally, to increase durability and maintain the boot's flexibility throughout its lifespan, the K2 Maysis was designed with the new Endo™ 3.0 technology. Underfoot, premium materials were used to improve cushioning and grip. The outsole is made with the exclusive This Grips!™ dual-rubber compound for excellent traction on and off snow. It all sits atop a dual-density midsole made of lightweight EVA and exclusive Harshmellow™ technology, designed to dampen vibrations on uneven terrain and cushion hard landings.
