NO. 08 OUTDOOR BLEU

The NO. 08 OUTDOOR BLEU folding knife is a technical tool optimized for outdoor activities and marine environments. Its robust 2.5mm-thick blade features a 3.5cm serrated area designed to efficiently cut natural or synthetic ropes, alongside a shackle key suitable for 4mm to 10mm shackles. The injected polymer handle offers high resistance to water, impacts, and extreme temperatures. For enhanced safety, this model is equipped with the Virobloc ® safety ring and a built-in survival whistle in the handle, capable of operating in all weather conditions.

-- MA5 stainless steel: martensitic stainless steel with high hardness due to added nitrogen (0.15%) and excellent corrosion resistance thanks to its high chromium content (16%).
-- Handle made from glass-fiber reinforced polyamide, resistant to shocks, moisture and extreme temperatures (-40 C to +80 C).
-- Integrated survival whistle without ball, works in all weather conditions (110 decibels).
-- Virobloc safety ring, invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, made of stainless steel with two parts: one fixed and one sliding.
-- Virobloc system locks the blade in the open position for safe use and in the closed position for safe transport.
