MICRON III
The MICRON III gas stove is an ultralight (58 g) and collapsible top-mounted cooking system engineered in a pocket-sized footprint. Designed perfectly for 1–2 people on fast-packing hikes, alpine climbs, or weekend getaways, this compact unit is exceptionally easy to pack and quick to deploy in the field. Despite its minimalist construction, it delivers a powerful 2600 W output capable of boiling 1 liter of water in under four minutes, utilizing a narrow, high-speed flame that maintains reliable combustion performance even in high-wind conditions.
This sit-on-top stove features foldable pot supports that collapse down to a mere 62 mm x 46 mm, allowing it to fit into virtually any pack pocket when weight and space are critical constraints. Operation is straightforward: once unfolded and threaded onto a gas canister, it is ready to boil water, heat freeze-dried rations, or cook simple meals efficiently. Flame adjustment is managed via an oversized control valve, ensuring precise thermal fine-tuning. After cooking, the unit detaches quickly and stows securely inside the included heavy-duty nylon storage bag.
Engineered without a pressure regulator to achieve maximum weight savings, the MICRON III delivers optimal heating efficiency when paired with smaller-diameter pots (sold separately). The stove is non-regulated and designed for compatibility with Primus Power Gas, Summer Gas, or Winter Gas canisters to match specific seasonal environmental parameters. Please note that the gas canister is not included and must be sourced separately.
