Body Mapping Technology gives the Static V Short™ its specially developed, body-mapped V-shaped chambers, providing support and ergonomic comfort whether you sleep on your back, stomach or side. By restricting air movement, the chambers help maintain insulating performance. Dynamic side rails built into the patterning and construction help keep you centered for secure, comfortable sleep and inhibit air movement as you toss and turn. Deep Weld Patterning lets your sleeping bag’s fill loft fully beneath you: its expansion zones improve thermal comfort instead of flattening the fill as traditional pads do. Inflation takes as few as six breaths through the simple, secure Flap Valve, while the deflate valve opens wide for rapid, complete deflation; the mechanism seals securely and helps prevent accidental opening. Trimmed to ¾ length from the most popular pad, this version is suited to ounce counters, kids and Scouts. At 14 ounces, it packs down to the size of a soda can. Its exceptionally compact 3x 8” packed size is smaller than closed-cell foam or self-inflating pads with the same footprint, R-Value and thickness. Durable material handles direct ground contact when you want to travel light and leave the tent at home.
