HURON TRADITIONNEL The Huron snowshoe model is the most well-known form of snowshoeing and has its origins in the Huron nation of Canada. This snowshoe is mainly used for hunting, trapping and long treks in thinned forests and fields. It was also the preferred choice of the first French settlers who came to settle in New France around 1604, coureurs des bois and trappers for their winter trips. Very quiet and easy to handle, its geometry allows excellent flotation at all times and its long profiled tail allows it to stay in line with the walking movement.
