The brakes retract in climbing mode with the first step into the binding and activate automatically in downhill mode. For comfortable climbing on steep terrain, the new functionally integrated speed riser offers three walk modes and can be operated with a ski pole or by hand. The toe-piece excenter locks with the ski-pole grip and releases with the pole tip. Thanks to a re-engineered ski crampon leash, the Seven Summits+ is compatible with the new DYNAFIT ski crampon featuring “Quick-In-Achse,” which can be attached from the side or the top; on challenging terrain, top mounting is easier and faster.
